Visibility

Cateye’s Ampp 500 Front Light comes with Opticuble lens technology which offers supreme light distribution. The lens also comes with extensive side lenses which creates a wide beam and enhanced side visibility. This is especially great for commuters that are cycling through built up urban areas where they are faced with multiple lanes of traffic.  

Durable Design

The light comes with a robust matt polycarbonate body which comes with enhanced scratch resistance. Additionally, the light comes with a water rating of IPX4 which shields from water damage – the leading contributor to bike light’s breaking.

Charging

To save you the constant hassle of having to replace your bike lights batteries the Ampp 500 light comes with an internal lithium-ion battery which is rechargeable. The light can be fully recharged in 4 to 8 hours. The illuminated power button, on top of the light, also acts as a battery light indicator which glows red when the battery is at 20%.

Mounting

For quick and easy mounting the light comes with the FlexTight mounting bracket which is versatile and works with bars up to 35mm in diameter and selected aero bars. The redesigned underside connection of the light offers easier removal from the bracket for quick release which is great for commuters.
